Rosette Mogomotsi, Andile Ncube’s former girlfriend and mother of his daughter Gaby, leveled allegations of abuse against him in a Sunday World article.

She was quoted by the publication saying “The relationship between Andile and I was, to say the least, toxic and horrible. Simply put, it was a hellish three years!

As for the abuse, this is indeed a sensitive issue for me as I’ve put it behind me and dealt with it through counseling”.

Rosette Mogomotsi further accused Andile Ncube of being and unfit father “I believe that if Andile thinks that taking care of his child is burdensome or just too difficult, then let it be that.

“My child doesn’t need the emotional and psychological damage that comes from irresponsible parenting.

He’s not fit to be a father to my child and that’s why he is not and will not play a father figure role in our lives in the future… I don’t trust him with my child”.

Andile Ncube responded to the allegations through his lawyer Clement Shirelele who claimed that it was Rosette Mogomotsi who refused Andile Ncube and his parents access to his child since October 2013.

Clement Shirelele went on to challenge Rosette Mogomotsi to take Andile Ncube to Maintenance Court if her claims were true.

Clement Shirelele was quoted saying  “Gaby is on medical aid. She [Rosette Mogomotsi] has refused to pick up the medical aid card. She has refused to provide banking details to enable him to provide financial support.

Gaby has an education policy. She [Rosette Mogomotsi] has refused to accept details thereof. All these things are part and parcel of support and maintenance of a child”.
