Ajax Cape Town punish Mpumalanga Black Aces in the 2014 Telkom Knockout while Kaizer Chiefs continues to dominate in all competitions in the 2014/15 Premier Soccer League season.

Ajax Cape Town Telkom KnockoutThe 2014 Telkom Knockout got underway of Friday October 03, 2014 with  BidVest Wits going head to head with Moroka Swallows at the BidVest Stadium in Milpark, Johannesburg.

Moroka Swallows who squandered their 2-0 lead to lose 3-2 in the Absa Premiership game against Free State Stars found the going tough against the students – BidVest Wits put Swallows away with a 3-0 drubbing.

On Saturday October 04, 2014 Platinum Stars defeated Chippa United 1-0 while Gordon Igesund continued to inspire his new side Supersport United as they defeated Free State Stars 1-0.

It took Mamelodi Sundowns extra-time to get pass University of Pretoria as they edge them out 2-1 while AmaZulu turned the tables on Bloemfontein Celtic as they record they first victory of the 2014/4 PSL season.

Celtic were 2-0 ahead on the 83rd minute when AmaZulu scored twice in 3 minutes to bring themselves back in the game and went on to score their 3rd goal in extra-time to win the match and progress to the last 8.

Kaizer Chiefs continued their scintillating form as they remain undefeated in the 2014/15 PSL season’s official competition. They handed Maritzburg United another 1-0 defeat.

On Sunday October 05, 2015 Ajax Cape Town found inspiration in their home at Cape Town Stadium as they overwhelmed Clive Barker’s Mpumalanga Black Aces 3-0. In another match Orlando Pirates, who seem hot and cold lately, hosted Polokwane City at Orlando Stadium and went on to win 2-1.

The 2014 Telkom Knockout last 16 was concluded with the following teams booking their spot in the last 8; Ajax Cape Town, AmaZulu, BidVest Wits, Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates, Platinum Stars and Supersport United.
